Laura Stamm - Power Skating

The Laura Stamm - Power Skating resource includes PDFs of her book and the videos that accompany her book. I have also added links from her website that include videos of skills and of the different levels of skills testing in her program.

Skills of Gold - Hockey Canada

The password and username to access the Skills of Gold materials are the same as those used to log onto this U15 Panthers site.

Considered some of the best resource material available for coaches and players, the Skills of Gold series dates back to 2005. Some of the language is dated - "he" skates up the boards, "defenceman" - but the drills and skills are still relevant.

I have been looking for a set of these DVDs for years and only found a new, unsealed set on eBay in January. There are some crazy prices on these, but I got them delivered to my door for around $53.00. I had to screen record the DVDs and it took me a while to find a program that could play the DVDs. I had to use an external DVD player as not many computers have internal disc players these days. I then went through and added time to the drill or skill so the viewer would know where to see it in action on the video. Please let me know if there are dead links.

I have added PDF directories for each of the eight DVDs and a directory for the complete set. The manuals that came with the set have some errors in them - the numbering of skills and tactics is incorrect.

There are a number of great exercises on the Off ice training DVD that can be put into practice during the season.
